Glad these are only small issues, I just paid $9.95 to upgrade since I bought my MacBook Pro after June 8th. Even with some small application issues I'm more than happy.

thanks for the mention. Anytime someone's got trouble with TypePad (or any of our products, really) I always like to know about it.
this -should- be fixed now, let me know if for some unearthly reason it isn't, and my apologies for the troublwe in the first place!

I haven't been a Firefox guy since I was on windows, but all that has changed now that FF3 came along. the main reason I didn't like Firefox on Mac before was that it didn't fit in very well with the aqua look and feel. FF3 is much better fitted in, and I haven't even tried the GrApple plugin yet!
Awesome post Ryan, keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear you had some issues with .Mac. I have it, and it works pretty well most of the time.
Having a .Mac "vintage" email will definitely be a piece of Apple history haha. I will definitely be keeping my one as well.

Good points, I definitely would love to see a product(RED) iPhone!
I agree with you about OS 10.6. It just doesn't make sense that they would release 10.6 without coming up with some "wow" factor to make people want to go out and buy it. A security and performance upgrade would be nice, but I don't think your average user would go out and drop 100 bucks on such a release. Consistently over the last iterations of OSX, Apple have introduced new and exciting features including (but not limited to): Expose, Dashboard, Automator, Front Row, Spaces, Time Machine, and Screen Sharing. These are all features your average user would probably want to upgrade for. I guess if 10.6 was a free software update (although I guess it's unlikely), then maybe it would be a good idea to only include security and performance updates.
Anyway, awesome blog post; and I guess all will be revealed on Monday!
